What this is
A free game for keeping score with people you know. There is nothing to buy and nothing to win but pride.
Cowries, gems and badges
They are awarded for playing and that is the only way to get them. They have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, traded between people, or exchanged for anything outside the app. If your account goes, they go.
This is not betting
Nothing in this app is a wager and nothing of value changes hands. If you and a friend agree on a forfeit between yourselves, that is between yourselves — it has nothing to do with us and we neither hold nor move anything.
Be someone people want to play
Don't harass anybody, don't pretend to be somebody else, and don't put anything in a squad name or a challenge title you would not want read aloud. We can remove content and close accounts that do.
Play straight
Don't fake readings, don't run the app against another person's data, and don't use anything automated to inflate a number. A record that can be faked is worth nothing to anybody, including you.
Health data is not medical advice
The app reads what your phone recorded and compares it to a target. It is not a measurement of your health and nobody here is giving you medical advice. Ask a doctor, not a step count.
Your account
Keep your phone and your sign-in code to yourself. You can delete your account in the app at any time, in You.
What we promise
To run the app as well as we can. We can't promise it will never be down, never lose a reading, or never get a settlement wrong — and when it does, voiding a challenge is a real outcome rather than an error.
Changes
We'll update these when the app changes. If something material changes we'll say so in the app rather than quietly. Questions go to support@play.doxnplay.com.
This describes what the current version of the app does. It ships with the app, so it cannot drift from it.
